Is it suitable for me...? 

First and foremost your enthusiasm and commitment is worth the most, the rest you can learn as you go along as we are always learning new things.... you can get involved with...

• On stage: actors, actresses, dancers, singers, musicians - there are opportunities for all talents

• Off stage: lighting, sound, set design, set construction,  set painting, stage management, choreography, properties, costumes, make-up,...

• Front of house: programme sales, ticket sales, refreshments, raffles, ushering, marketing and promotion

It is the efforts of all the friendly team, and more, working together that allow us to stage our three or four shows per year. 

Teamwork and a smile is the essence of our club. You don't have to volunteer, you can also join as a supporter to help the club and receive newsletters with advance ticket purchase opportunities.

Members get to nominate and vote for the two annual Sway Drama awards each year; the award for acting and award for back-stage and front of house.

Membership fees (payable once you have decided you want to get involved as part of the club)...

Our annual subscription fees are:

• Junior:     £6:00

• Single:  £15:00 

• Couple: £24.00

Best of all - we don't even charge weekly subs!!

So if you're looking for an inexpensive hobby that costs little more than just your time - come and join Sway Drama Club.

For insurance purposes we need all those involved in a production to be members. 

Membership fees can be paid by bank transfer or sending a cheque, payable to Sway Drama Club, to our Membership Secretary.
